4 years later… A new post
APRIL 9, 2024
It’s been 4 years since I wrote a post here, almost to the day. I was honestly shocked that 1. the server is still kicking and 2. that I was able to find my old ssh keys to get in – I guess I should make sure I’m not using a compromised version.
I’ve learned a lot over the last 4 years though. I’ve deployed 2 SwiftUI apps in my professional life, created multiple full stack personal projects, and moved to the other side of the country. I’ve got a lot to catch up on but it feels good to think and write about the things I’ve learned again, even if nobody ever reads it.
Some upcoming topics:
- My journey with SwiftUI in professional apps – from version 1 to today (version 5)
- Creating a modular app with Swift Package Manager in a professional setting – the benefits and drawbacks
- Revisiting my old posts to see if I still agree with my past self
- Coming to love (and hate at times) typescript, from my experience creating Node servers, React websites, and React Native applications
- Working in the sports betting industry
- Trying to regain lost gains in the gym
- Exploring LLMs for code companions
- Rewriting my portfolio website since Gatsby is basically dead now
